Terms and Conditions for “The Balanced Practitioner” Mobile Massage Services, Digital Products, and Product Sales
By booking a massage appointment or purchasing digital products and physical items from “The Balanced Practitioner”, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. Appointment Booking (Nomad Wellness Mobile Massage)
• Bookings can be made following the Initial Virtual Consultation. Please note that service cannot be guaranteed until after the consultation, as it is subject to availability and the outcome of the consultation
• A valid contact number and email address are required to confirm your appointment.
• We reserve the right to refuse service if sufficient information is not provided.
2. Payment and Fees
• A security deposit of 50% of the service is required for mobile massage services and the remainder will be due the day of service. Accepted form of payment e-transfer, credit or debit card.
• Prices for services are as listed on our website or communicated during the booking process.
• Travel fees & GST are included in the prices. An additional charge may be discussed.
• Digital products and physical items are priced as indicated on the website or product page. All payments for products must be made at the time of purchase.
3. Digital Products
• Upon purchasing digital products (such as e-books, guides, printables, etc.), customers will receive access to download links or email delivery.
• Digital products are non-refundable once downloaded.
• You may not redistribute or sell any digital products purchased from [Your Business Name] without prior consent.
4. Sale of Physical Items
• All physical items (e.g., wellness products, massage tools, etc.) sold through our website are subject to availability.
• Shipping costs will be added at checkout and depend on the delivery location.
• Sales of physical items are final. If an item is damaged or incorrect, please contact us within 7 days of receiving the item for resolution.
5. Cancellations and Rescheduling (Mobile Massage)
• Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance to avoid a cancellation fee of 50% of the service cost. The security deposit will be forfeited.
• Rescheduling requests must be made at least 24 hours before the appointment.
• Late cancel/No-Shows will be charged the full service fee.
6. Health and Safety (Mobile Massage)
• By booking a massage, you confirm that you have disclosed all relevant health information, including current injuries, medical conditions, and medications that may affect your treatment.
• You agree to inform us of any discomfort or issues during the session.
• We reserve the right to refuse service if it is determined that massage may be harmful or unsafe due to your medical conditions or circumstances.
7. Client Responsibilities (Mobile Massage)
• Clients are responsible for providing a suitable space for the massage treatment, ensuring it is clean, quiet, and free from distractions.
• The space should be large enough to accommodate a massage table (approximately 6’x10’) and provide easy access for the therapist.
• The number of people present during the session must be disclosed at the time of booking.
• Clients must be present during the consultation to discuss any preferences or concerns.
8. Mobile Service Terms
• The therapist will arrive within a 30-minute window of the scheduled appointment time. If the therapist is delayed beyond this window, you will be notified.
• Clients must ensure there is adequate parking and easy access to the property.
• If parking is not available, additional charges will be added.
9. Privacy and Confidentiality
• We respect your privacy and will not share your personal information without your consent, except as required by law.
• All client records, including health history, will be kept confidential and stored securely.
• Any data collected for digital product purchases will be handled according to our Privacy Policy.
10. Liability Waiver
• By booking a service or purchasing products, you acknowledge that you understand the nature of massage therapy and consent to receiving treatment.
• You agree to release The Balanced Pracitioner and its therapists from any liability for injuries or discomfort arising from the session, except in cases of negligence.
• We are not liable for any damages or losses related to the use of digital products or physical items purchased.
11. Modifications to Terms
• We reserve the right to modify or update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Clients will be notified of significant changes via email or other communication methods.

Refund and Return Policy
Mobile Massage Services
• No Refunds for Services Rendered: Once a mobile massage service has been provided, we do not offer refunds.
• Cancellation Policy: If you cancel your appointment within 24 hours of the scheduled time, a cancellation fee of 50% of the service] will apply. Cancellations made before 24 hours will not incur a fee.
• Service Discomfort: If you experience any discomfort during the session, please inform your therapist immediately. We will adjust the treatment to ensure your comfort, but no refunds will be given after the service has been provided.
Digital Products
• Non-Refundable: All digital products (e.g., e-books, guides, printables) are non-refundable once they have been downloaded or accessed.
• Defective Files: If you experience issues with downloading or accessing your digital product, please contact us within [insert time frame, e.g., 7 days] of purchase for a replacement or support.
Physical Products
• Returns: Physical products may be returned within 14 days of purchase if they are unopened and in their original condition.
